Food and Drink in St. Louis

One of the things that is always fun when I visit St. Louis is including food and drink into our activities. Because of my darn stomach it's not nearly as much fun because everything has to be thought through. In other words, "How will I feel after I eat or drink this?" It's a drag but IIWII and I'm making the best of it sometimes choosing to go ahead and eat or drink something knowing I'll have to deal with the consequences.

The first Friday I was there,  Rick, the kid's hockey coach was driving his oldest son and friends to prom in a limo that he owns so he suggested coming by and picking us up to go out for dinner.. We had a really good time.

The next day after Haley's volleyball game Tom, Stacie and I went to El Maquey for late lunch and margaritas.. I knew in advance I wasn't going to get my favorite, Steak Tapatia because of my stomach but they had a really good three enchilada dish with very good sauce and I will definitely have it again before I leave  And the margaritas were very good

I always make time to go to my favorite St. Louis book store when I visit. It’s a good time to bring my “To Read” book list and replenish my paperback novels. Afterwards I went to Chipotle and got a steak burrito bowl. It was as good as I remembered. I think the last time I had one was either here or in Denver in 2018 or 19. I’m sure it’s in a blog somewhere. 😊
